On Sunday, Dr. Rao, Lhemi from our New York office and a team of doctors flew to Nepal for Earthquake relief efforts. Dr. Rao shared some images from his first day in Kathmandu.

Message from Dr. Rao:

Dear all,

Today was our first day in Nepal to help with relief work. I am leading a team of APPNA doctors, including Dr Arain, Dr . Qamar Zaman, Dr. Shujat Ali , Wasim Momin and my assistant Lehmi without her this trip was not possible. We were in a small village and provided care for 90 % of them . There were children, elderly and young with no place to sleep, and out in tents. This elderly lady was still smiling. We asked her what did you do during earthquake to protect yourself. Her answer ( I kept singing) made me think we as privilege citizens should learn patience from this brave lady. Trip will continue, I will post when possible to encourage you all .
