Out by AnneMarie Silbiger
Maybe it's time to climb that mountain.
Hurl myself at the wind.
Roar at the rain.
Dance in the din of a storm.
Run on the earth and sleep in the soil.
Forage for food in nothing but rags.
Rags I left the speeding world behind in.
Look to the skies for mercy.
Out of the race and into the peace.
